Video Game Translator
Offering my services
I offer specialized localization services designed to help your project resonate with the Brazilian market. From indie games to AAA titles, my mission is to provide a seamless linguistic experience that makes every game feel native to Brazilian players.
I usually work with CAT tools to ensure the final product is consistent and free of mistakes—I'm used to work in Crowdin, Weblate or memoQ, but I can adapt to other tools as well if necessary. For smaller indies, I can work with any text files.
I'm open to work directly for indie developers or localization agencies.
What I need in return
Credit: as I believe work needs recognition.
Payment: as this is my job. My rates can vary, usually going from 0.1 to 0.2 USD per word depending on the project, deadlines, the services you need, and my current availability. If your game is available for free, I won’t charge you for the translation. I prioritize work that pays me, but there are many free games that I’d be delighted to translate as well.
Communication: open communication is essential for a high-quality localization. To ensure your game's world is translated accurately, I need access to a dev build or a copy of the game. Seeing the text in-game—exactly as the players will—allows me to maintain perfect context and UI fit. Furthermore, having a direct line of communication with the dev team or other translators allow me to resolve queries quickly, ensuring a polished and consistent final product.
